Nothing Can Stop Her

Dedicated to my Sister Jody Vance

by Joe Vance

February 2nd, 1985, a girl is born,

And nothing can stop her.

At two, she’s diagnosed with Krabbe’s

But nothing can stop her.

Was only supposed to live another year,

But nothing can stop her.

She’s paralyzed and without sight,

But nothing can stop her.

I hear her laugh and see her smile

Because nothing can stop her.

Her smile like a joyous ray of sunshine, living life knowing

That nothing can stop her.

She lives to this day at age twenty-three

Because nothing can stop her.

She is my sister and my  inspiration

Because nothing can stop her!
