Loving The Children

Jill Kelly visits ASPIRE School to bring hope and “Love” to special needs children.

Jill Kelly visited ASPIRE of Western New York Center for Learning [4635 Union Rd., Cheektowaga, NY 14225] on May 23, 2007. During her time there she shared how special each child is to the Kelly family and the Hunter’s Hope Foundation as she handed out a Hunter’s Hope special edition “Love Endures” bear to the students. The bears were given in memory of Jill’s son, Hunter, and in honor of Jimmy Schmitt who was diagnosed with Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) and attends ASPIRE school.

Hunter’s Hope introduces an annual special edition Boyd’s bear, representing the Foundation’s theme during that year. “Love Endures” is the 2006 bear whose tag reads as follows:
“‘Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.’ (1 Corinthians 13:7) I am Love, and I will always have Hope and Trust that God’s Love for all His children will Endure. Therefore, I Endure.”

Gifts of “Faith” Bring Hope to Sick Children all across the United States.

August 5, 2006 marked the one year anniversary of Hunter James Kelly’s passing from Krabbe disease.  In his memory and in

honor of all sick children, the Hunter’s Hope Foundation, along with Leukodystrophy families, visited children’s hospitals across the

country. In each city, the giveaway was held in special Honor/Memory of a local Krabbe child.  A specially designed Boyd’s bear, called

“Faith”, was given to every pediatric patient at select hospitals.
