Hunter's Wish Gift  by making a donation to support the needs of our families as they care for their children.  Gifts of any amount are greatly appreciated.

Hunter's Wish Gift helps families who face extreme financial stress attributed to the costs associated with caring for a child with Krabbe or another Leukodystrophy.

Requests are granted on a case-by-case basis and are limited to meeting needs that will enable an affected family to provide the best possible care for their child. 

Many times families come to the Foundation for assistance with a unique need – travel expenses associated with treatment, a wheelchair lift to enable a family to safely travel with their child or assistance in purchasing a vehicle to accommodate their child's equipment needs.  These are only a few examples of ways Hunter's Wish Gifts have helped our families focus on what matters most - caring for their child!

What Our Families Have to Say...

Days after giving birth to our second child, my oldest daughter Karis had to spend a couple of days in the hospital because of respiratory issues.  Two days after that, we were hit by a tornado! Thankfully, we were all unharmed and our home only suffered minor damages.  My car, however, was pretty badly damaged - nearly all of its windows were completely shattered.  Since we only have liability insurance, we were facing a nearly $2,000 repair.  Thank you to Hunter's Hope and Peace, Love & Trevor for covering the full cost of this repair!

We would like to thank Hunter's Hope for your generous gift.  As Jameson continues to get bigger so do his mobility needs.  This came at just the right time as we began to wonder how we were going to accomodate him and his equipment needs.  Without the gift of this van we would have struggled to meet his needs.  Thank You!!
