Annual Workshop on Krabbe Disease
Attendance to the scientific and medical symposium is by invitation only. For more information please email info@huntershope.org.

The 2013 Medical & Science Symposium is scheduled for July 22nd - 24th at Holiday Valley Resort in Ellicottville, NY.  

This annual multidisciplinary workshop brings together over 50 child neurologists, geneticists, basic scientists, neuroradiologists, neurodevelopmental pediatricians, transplanters, oncologists, and neuropsychologists to discuss advances in clinical and basic science research in Krabbe Disease and other Leukodystrophies.

Last year, the workshop focused on the following topics:

  • Neuropathology of treated animals and humans with Krabbe Disease
  • Newborn screening for Krabbe Disease
  • Basic and clinical research progress

The Family Symposium is scheduled for the week of July 24th - 28th at Holiday Valley Resort in Ellicottville, NY.
