Beau’s Blessings was created in honor of Beau Hunter Bean, who spent his first 38 days in the PICU courageously fighting a heart condition. During that time, Jim and Jill Kelly’s family including Erin and Parker Bean, Beau’s parents experienced firsthand the exhaustion, fear, uncertainty, and deep need for encouragement that every parent in intensive care walks through.

Out of that experience came Beau’s Blessings — a ministry designed to lift burdens and bring hope to parents with children in the ICU. Each care package is filled with practical help like DoorDash gift cards, other necessities our family relied on in the PICU, and, most importantly, encouragement from God’s Word.

Our prayer is simple: that every family would be reminded that they are not alone — that God sees them, loves them, and is still writing a beautiful story, even in the hardest days.

The Story of Beau Bean

In this deeply personal two-part episode, Erin and Parker Bean join Jill Kelly to share their 38-day journey in the hospital with their son, Beau Hunter Bean.

From the joy of pregnancy and delivery to the shock of discovering something was wrong with Beau’s heart at birth, Erin and Parker open their hearts about the fear, heartache, and moments of raw faith that carried them through.

Through tears and honesty, they share how God met them in their darkest hours…one moment, one day, one prayer, and one heartbeat at a time. This is a story of holding on when everything feels uncertain, and finding that even in the waiting, God is still working.

Whether you’ve walked through your own hospital journey or are clinging to hope in a season that doesn’t make sense, this conversation will remind you that God’s presence is near, His plans are good, and His grace is enough for every single day.
