Thanks to the generosity of the Kelly for Kids Foundation, we are blessed to receive an annual award in support of all of our programs, which include the Leukodystrophy Care Network, research, newborn screening and family programs, such as our annual Family and Medical Symposium.

Believing for Bryleigh

Believing for Bryleigh is a generous supporter of the Leukodystrophy Care Network and has also provided support of our annual Family and Medical Symposium. Their mission is to provide relief, support, and assistance to families affected by Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD) and other Leukodystrophies and disabilities by helping to educate, create awareness and family support programs, funding research, and providing financial support.

In conjunction with Hunter’s Day of Hope & Prayer for Children, each February, Western New York Wendy’s locations participate in Frosty’s & Fries for Hope – a campaign introduced by the local franchisee, Muy Hamburger Partners, LLC. By offering customers Valentine’s Day discount sheets, funds and awareness of our mission are raised throughout the community.

Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation

The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation began operations in 2015 to continue Mr. Wilson’s legacy—one of generosity and innovation, healthy risk taking and collaboration, and an unshakeable community focus. In 2016, Hunter’s Wish Gift became the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Wish Gift in conjunction with an endowment from the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation producing $25,000 annually to support this program into the future.  Thank you to the Ralph C. Because NFL Foundation understands the importance of our programs, including the Leukodystrophy Care Network and expanded Newborn Screening, they proudly support our efforts through their Annual Players Foundation Grant.

Mother Cabrini Health Foundation

We are thankful for the generous support of the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation and all they do to improve the health and well-being of vulnerable New Yorkers. Their support allows us to serve individuals with Leukodystrophy in Western New York through the Leukodystrophy Care Network and its Certified Care Centers in Buffalo and Rochester.

The Jackson Project

The Jackson Project is a generous supporter of the Leukodystrophy Care Network, Wish Gift, and our annual Family and Medical Symposium. The foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life for families affected by Leukodystrophy by financially supporting families in obtaining equipment or services they need to best care for those affected, raising awareness about Krabbe, other Leukodystrophies, and the critical role of Newborn Screening, and partnering with the Leukodystrophy Care Network which aims to revolutionize the health and quality of life of individuals affected with proactive, innovative, and comprehensive medical care standards and specialized centers of excellence.

Judson's Legacy

Judson Levasheff (12/24/04-11/07/07) was affected by late-onset Krabbe disease. Judson’s Legacy, established in his honor as a ministry of faith and hope in suffering, is also committed to funding research and raising awareness about Krabbe disease.

The Polisseni Foundation

Through their Foundation, the Polisseni family have been strong supporters of our mission for over ten years. In addition to funding research and advocacy initiatives, their generosity has helped to sustain our family programs — the Leukodystrophy Care Network, Symposium, Equipment and Supply Exchange and more.

Brody Wheeler

In 2018 Brody was honored with our Legacy of Hope award for 20 years of service.
