Come quickly, Lord, and rescue me.
Save me from this anguish that threatens to overcome me.
I can’t seem to focus on anything but the pain.
Sorrow continues to envelop my mind and heart.
I am distracted and distraught.
I am entangled by hopelessness and fear.
The unknown scares me to death.
Will I make it through?
Will You deliver me once again?
Will You fight for me?
Please be gracious to me, Lord.
Be my strength and my hope.
Spread Your mighty protection over me and pour out Your favor upon my life.
Even when all hope seems lost, Your promises remain.
You give strength to the weary.
You rescue the wayward.
You mend the broken and heal the sick.
You are God.
There is none like You.
